  • Købenstyle cookware combines strong steel with a hard, chip-resistant enameled surface, but even the strongest enamel can be chipped. Take normal care to prevent rough blows to the surface, and avoid using metal utensils, steel wool, and harsh abrasives, which can damage the surface. Also avoid rapid temperature changes, which can cause thermal shock and chipping.

Chips Easily

Super cute and functional but it chips super easily. I dropped it like three inches while washing it on to the counter and it chipped on the inside and outside. Exactly as another review mentioned. Too bad because it's a great design, but not durable at all.

great product, but...

I love this item - i had my grandmother's original one from a million years ago. i dropped it in the sink about 2 years ago and it chipped both inside and out. today i did the exact same thing with my new one - and got the same chip! it only dropped about 2 inches from my sink but obviously the item is very fragile! i love it and use it all the time, but obviously there is a design flaw here. the chip is not only on the exterior enamel, but chips inside the pot as well. weird???
