Generations II Nordic Blue Round Casserole with Lid

Love these dishes. They are gorgeous!

Beautiful

I love the color, styling and practicality of this casserole dish. I have always loved and bought Dansk. I started in 1965 buying Var. V for my flatware and then buying stoneware for my dishes.

This 2 quart with a lid is just beautiful I just got it in the mail and with the holidays coming up I cant wait to use it.

I absolutely love this dish. I was a little nervous about the handles and getting it out of the oven, but surprisingly I had no problems with it. It handled a 12 egg breakfast casserole with ease and it was so easy to get out of the dish. I did use silicone scoopers because I was afraid of scratching something so nice, but I think that was probably over cautious. The only thing I would change about this is probably to make the handles sideways just to make it more comfortable retrieving it from the oven and also for the lid to be a little bit deeper. Taking it in and out of the fridge did make the lid slide around a bit but I'll just have to keep my eye on it. Overall. it's a beautiful dish and I can't wait to show it off at the holidays.

I absolutely love my casserole dish. At first I did not want to cook with it because it's so beautiful lol but I did use it and love how evenly it cooked the food. It was super easy to clean after wards too!

The color is unique and I love how it matches my kitchen. The shape and placement of the handles made it much safer to pull out of the oven. Made a beef roast the first night, and it cooked evenly. The product goes from fridge to oven without a problem. Clean up was easy, I used just dish liquid and hot water.
